routine roll #3

Here's another installment of the routine roll. I've gotten better with taking my camera with me lately so less pictures ended up on my phone but here's what happened since I came back from Singapore.
i've seen these fellows quite a bit recently/mario-inspired manicure /100% japanese: totoro nails+1Q84
looming clouds in the south of ireland /started stitching again (this roof is taking aaages) /reading in the park
killiney beach /stone art on my louise brooks biography /sunny day in dalkey part 1

sunny day in dalkey part 2/muddy festival/new order on stage
1st french manicure (i might change my mind about them...)/window ledge gardening /rose shaped spinach in my quiche
snapple wisdom/candy-floss looking plant/weird frozen trees in my freezer box (they remind me of the tree-boat in the science of sleep)

routine roll #2

Still no working camera so here's en vrac what my phone caught since the last routine roll : attempting some nail art with my favourite fall colour combination, never getting tired of Irish dramatic skies, spending too much time at work, Dublin fashion week, Peter Doherty at the Academy, cycling in Sandymount, sneaking out of work because of the glorious weather, going to Fota and walking among free animals, and then off to Cobh (which could well be my favourite Irish city so far), rabbit-sitting in an awesome house, too many Eddie Rockets, lucky finds at the book stall in Blackrock market, going back to the Academy to see Patrick Wolf, a visit from Lisa Hannigan (one of the best things to come out of Ireland), more failed nail art, going to the Japanese Film Festival (more on that later), suffering from vertigo looking at Tori Amos from our seats and new favourite rings from Topshop.

routine roll

I am feeling too empty to blog these days (weeks), my head is full of practical boring stuff and it doesn't make for good material to write or even talk about. I am right in the middle of a routine consisting of mainly waking up, going to work, going to bed. And the week-ends are mostly lethargic.
No need to say that I'm desperate for holidays.
Don't get me wrong though I am not entirely complaining, there's something comforting in a peaceful routine and there was a time where I was yearning for it.
So here for my own personal record, the visuals of this every-day life of mine where nothing much happens at the moment (like instagramming but without an iphone).
I tend to write about what inspires me here but I feel like I don't document my surroundings enough. I haven't felt the need to photograph myself. Maybe I'll regret it. I wish I could capture more the 'inside' and the 'outside'... My little digital camera has just died so maybe it's time to invest in a good fancy one? I don't know really... I have to find a voice of my own or one that feels right. See me rambling! As I said I'm stuck in boringdom.

ps : sorry about the finger
