... I've been tremendously enjoying my neighbourhood adorning its best colours. So much greenery blooming and smelling wonderful: magnolias, honeysuckles, tulips and of course the beautiful cherry blossom trees. I had a mini-hanami wander in celebration, taking it all in sights and 'in lense'.
Also, I've gone back to stitching a little. Nothing complicated though, just a little floral heart for my Mum's birthday. The pattern is from a book I found in a charity shop in Glasgow, two years ago. Still love it!

thanks, hope you do too, happy dress wearing ;) xx
I'm loving everyone's pictures of cherry blossoms! The pink house is really pretty too.
I dabbled in cross-stitching as a nine yea rold, I never kept it up though. It's such a nice gift idea though :)
I think it's nice you are getting back into stitching. Please share the designs after you're done :)
Lovely and beautiful photos! So excited for flowers.
Your pictures are so pretty ! xx
@jane: i think we all need to celebrate the arrival of spring, this winter was way too long. I cross stitched as a kid too and it's only recently that I picked it up again after stumbling upon cath kidston's book on the subject. I loved her ideas on how to incorporate it in 'modern' life xx
@stephanie lula: i'm still working on a big one, i'll be sure to post about it when it's done (hopefully this year haha). Enjoy the flowers xx
@Suzy: thank you so much! xx

Cross stitch is one of the few needle arts I have yet to teach myself!! I definitely will one day, though. I love the look of it.
I love the fact all the trees are covered in flowers. I remember when I was trying to do cross stiching, but I've never got the patience :)
@canvasofculture: thank you for your lovely words and your visit! xx
@kelli: wasnt the pillow you made cross stitched? i could have sworn! it's dead easy and handy to customize stuff! xx
@magda: imagine if you had stuck to it and never ever got into cooking O.o i'm grateful for your lack of patience ;) xx
I love Cherry Blossoms, they always make me so happy because the blooms are a sign that Spring is on the way. They are the prettiest flowers!
I hope you had a lovely weekend Moira!
